We had the McWhite's and the Carson's over for dinner last week and we had such a great time! We've known both of these couples since our time in seminary. Hugh and Hollie (middle) were two of our small leaders right after we joined North Wake Church in Wake Forest. April and David (left) were in our small group for awhile too. We have lots of mutual friends with both of these couples and it was so great to spend time with them and catch up!
The adults even got to play a game together while all the big kids were watching Frozen. The McWhite's also have a 2 month old who wasn't in the picture below (sweet Jack was already asleep in his carrier). The Carson's are due in two weeks with their third little one. They don't know what they're having yet and I'm sooo excited about finding out!
The kids had so much fun playing together! There was a 7 year old, three 4 year olds, two 2 year olds, a four month old and a two month old. They kept the place hopping!:)
We're thankful for these friends and we definitely need to make get-togethers happen more often!:)
