We spent Thanksgiving this year down in Jackson visiting Bert's family. We had such a great visit!
Grandmama helped the girls make fun Christmas ornaments for lots of people!
She also let them help her cook all day long on Thursday. They "helped" her with everything. I'm sure it took her twice as long, but she was so glad to have their company. And they certainly loved it!
And then there was this little bundle of love who was just as sweet as ever.
She loved this little folding chair. She kept trying to get in it by herself, but needed help. We obviously stayed right beside her to make sure she didn't take a head dive out of it, but can you see her joy when she was sitting in it? So proud of herself. Emily and Hannah actually loved this chair too and had an argument or two or three about whose turn it was to sit in the chair. Ha!
Claire was getting some Pawpaw time while her big sisters were cooking.
Me and my little sunshine!:)
Hannah did a great job helping me make deviled eggs.
I love this picture of Hannah below. She was playing with her Daddy (while he was also watching a Thanksgiving football game). He would tickle her and then turn back to the game. She is just so expressive. Her face lights up when she is happy or having fun.
Uncle Michael, Aunt Sarah, Aiden, Millie and Billie came over on Thanksgiving evening. It was great to see them!
Claire letting Uncle Michael hold her for the first time. She doesn't look totally sure about it (maybe it's the beard!), but if we had given her more time she definitely would have warmed up.:)
Hannah, Millie and Billie took a break from playing to do a little coloring. Millie and Billie are about 5 months younger that Hannah and it was fun to watch them play together!
Mamaw (Bert's grandmother) got to meet Claire for the first time. We just love Mamaw so much and it was so great to get to see her and have her love on Claire. So thankful for her!
The last trip we took to Jackson Bert's dad made the girls "pigs in a blanket" for breakfast. They started asking him as soon as we got there (without any prompting from us....although we do like them too) if he would make them for them again! By golly he was going to make it happen. He woke up early the morning we were leaving so that he could go to the store and buy what he needed to make "pigs in a blanket" for his baby girls.
We had a great trip to Jackson and a great Thanksgiving! We have so so much to be thankful for!
