Our church had an Easter Egg Hunt at the end of March. It's been years since our church has had one, and we were excited that they brought it back. The girls were really looking forward to hunting for eggs and seeing their friends.
They started out the morning by letting all the kids make bird feeders. Then they encouraged the kids to give the bird feeder to someone else, as giving is really what Easter is all about.
After the craft time, Bert shared with the kids the story of Easter. You can see from the picture below we had a great turn out!
After a yummy lunch it was time for all the kids to head out and hunt eggs. The kids three years and under were in a roped off section and Hannah stayed there long enough to pick up a couple eggs but then she insisted on going to be with Emily.
Claire didn't quite get the memo of what she was supposed to do, but one sweet little girl stopped by to give her an egg and then her sisters gave her one too. She just enjoyed walking around on this beautiful day! Cutie!
Caught a picture of Hannah walking around in the big kid section. Sweet thing!
Emily had fun with her friend Shaelynn!
Claire was proud of the eggs in her bucket and she kept showing them to us!!
We're thankful for all the hard work that went into planning this event! It was a fun, beautiful morning that we enjoyed spending with our church family!
