We had a marriage conference at MCBC and our friends Larry and Stephanie Lyon, from Wake Forest, NC, came down to speak at it! This was the first marriage conference MCBC has had since we've been here (7 years ago) and it was a success!
We were so thankful to have Larry and Stephanie and we appreciate them pouring into us that weekend!
On Saturday night we had the Lyon's, Carson's and Burn's over for dinner. The Lyon's and the Carson's led the small group we joined when we first started going to North Wake Church in Wake Forest. The Burns joined not long after us.

All the kids....when we first joined the small group only three of these kids were alive. We've grown for sure!
All four of these kids (one from each family) have birthdays within 6 months of each other. Claire is the oldest, then Maggie Lyon, then Bennett Carson, then Katelyn Burns. Sweet little 5 year olds!
Thankful for spending time with "old" friends!
