We went to the pool as a family for the first time this summer a couple weeks ago. Thankful for some friends at church who have said we can use their pool whenever. The kids had fun for sure!
I loved this picture of Bert throwing Abs in the air. I also loved that she was holding on tight to her water toy. She was a happy girl!
Claire was a little on the nervous side about getting in the water. I was able to coax her into getting in with me for a few minutes but then she wanted out so she could hang out on the side of the pool. But she definitely wanted to keep the goggles on. (She said she looked "like a superhero!") She was as happy as a lark out there. She'll warm up as the summer goes on though and will probably be a little fish by the end of the summer.
Emily had fun showing us different jump moves that she could do. I think she looks like a little cheerleader here.
I thought this was such a sweet picture of Hannah Beth. She loves swimming in the lake or pool but if you try to make her take off her puddle jumper (and practice swimming on her own) or jump in the water to us that smile will turn upside down. Ha!
