Christmas Performance, Christmas Party and Christmas Reunion

Emily and Hannah had their Christmas Choir performances at church a couple weekends ago.  They both did an awesome job!

Hannah's in the preschool choir and they sang 3 songs before the big kids choir started their performance.  They were adorable as usual!

I love it when Hannah picks someone out in the crowd and gets so excited about seeing them.  She breaks out in a huge grin and starts waving.  I think she's done this at least once during every performance.

The picture below is Hannah and her friend, Marly.  These two have become best buddies.  They love sitting beside each other in choir and Sunday School!

The older kids choir is for kids in 1st grade through 5th grade.  I think Em was the youngest and shortest in the group but you wouldn't have known it by her performance! She had a short solo in one of the songs and sang it beautifully and she also had 5 or 6 short speaking parts that she also said without a hitch.  This particular play was supposed to take place during a "Christmas pageant rehearsal" so the kids were dressed for that. It was such a cute little play and all the kids worked so hard.

This one couldn't make it through the whole performance so she got to snuggle up on Papa's shoulder.

The above picture is of Claire, but it is shocking to me how much it looks like Hannah.  Crazy!!!

All four grandparents came up to see the girls perform and drove back home after the performances  that night.  This day also happened to be Bert's first Sunday as senior pastor so they were all able to hear him preach too!  We appreciated them making the trip and LOVED having them spend the day with us!

The next weekend brought more Christmas activities:

My parents have been part of a supper club for 30 years.  They used to meet for dinner once a month, although in recent years I think they're doing good to meet once a quarter.  The supper club Christmas party is always fun because the "kids" get to come and it's fun to see everyone and reconnect!

Uncle Stan came in from Atlanta for the night and made Buckeyes for the party....Hannah and Claire were his assistants.

Here is a picture of the kids' kids.  We had 15 babies there that night even though several families were missing.

Bert took a picture of the adults trying to get the kids to smile for the picture.  Ha!

The next day we had the Moore family reunion at my Aunt Jennie's house (Aunt Jennie is actually my dad's aunt). Several of these families traveled from FL, one family from Charlotte and many others from closer places.  It was great to see everyone, especially since I only see many of them once a year or every few years.

We're staying busy and enjoying all the Christmas activities!
