On The Road to PCB

Our vacation to PCB started on Friday this year. We left Friday morning to make our way down to Bert's Mamaw's house so that we could spend Friday night with her.  She lives in Jennings, FL, which is very close to Valdosta.

Abby doesn't love to nap in the car these days and she napped maybe 20 minutes the whole day but ended up doing just fine.  She sure enjoyed her cookie!

We stopped in Athens for lunch and a quick walk on the UGA campus.  Bert enjoyed showing the girls the Arch and Chapel Bell and they enjoyed getting to run around and stretch their legs before we jumped back in the car for our next leg of the trip.

The bell was so loud it shocked them!

After our stop on campus we went to The Varsity for lunch and the girls thoroughly enjoyed it!  They kept laughing about the fact that they ordered a "naked dog."  :)

We made it to Mamaw's house by about 6pm and enjoyed pizza and spending time with her that evening.  On Saturday morning Bert's parents drove down to Mamaw's house to help her do some packing as she's moving in the next couple moths.  We ate lunch at Mamaw's house and then hit the road on our trek across the panhandle to make our way to Panama City Beach!

It was really fun to get to see Mamaw and Grandmama and Pawpaw on our way to the beach.  It broke up our trip and we loved the quality time!
