Vogel - Hiking and Playground

Bert parents rented a big cabin in late July at Vogel State Park in north Georgia for all of us to enjoy! They got there with the Sandridge family on Saturday and we joined them on Sunday night after church.  We didn't get there until about 11pm and the girls woke up as we were pulling up to the cabin and were so excited to be there that they had a little trouble going back to sleep.

We started out our first morning at the park with a hike to the waterfall.  All along the trail they have these signs posted and it tells the kids some interesting fact and has them do some type of activity (20 jumping jacks, 10 push-ups, etc) related to the interesting fact.  It was cute!

Emily and Rosemary were our "readers" and took turns reading each sign.

Such a beautiful place!  I love this view!!

Abby enjoy riding on her Daddy's back!  She had it made!

Watts Family pic!  We love our girls!

Grandmama and Pawpaw with some of their grandkids!  I love Claire's pose in the front!:)

Emily's starting 2nd grade and Rosemary is starting 5th!

These 3 cousins are all three starting kindergarten in just a few weeks and in 3 different states! Solomon will be starting in NC, Hannah in SC, and Billie (and her twin sister, Millie, who couldn't come on the trip because she was sick) in GA!  Fun times!  Grandmama and Pawpaw will have lots of graduations to go to the year they all graduate!

Grandmama and Emily!

After lunch and naps that day we headed to the playground!

Hannah was so sweet to want to play with Abby that afternoon.  She wanted to help Abby, even when Abby didn't always want her help.  Sweet thing!

This brave little girl is looking big in this picture!

The kids really like this play rock wall and loved climbing on it!

After the playground we were off to play in the creek, but I decided to move that activity to another post!:)
