Thanksgiving in Jackson

We had a great time celebrating Thanksgiving in Jackson with all of the Watts crew!

Grandmama and Pawpaw had 3 of their 4 kids there and most of their grandkids there, so it was hoppin'!  We loved all being together!

So crazy that Hannah, Solomon, Millie and Billie will all start kindergarten next year.  Our babies are getting big!

Rosemary snuggling with Claire Bear.

Alison brought everything to let the kids make fondant toppers to go on the top of the cupcakes she had made for dessert.

They were all very focused and did a great job!

Emily was excited to have Rosemary wrap the scarf up on her head.

That night after most everyone had left I found these three snuggled up watching a show together. Sweet things!

After we got the kids to sleep the adults played a game called "Watch Ya' Mouth." You had to read the phrase on each card (with that crazy thing in your mouth) and your teammates had to try to figure out what phrase you had said.  Bert, Jeff and Stephen were on a team and Linda, Alison and I were on a team.  Annoyingly enough, the guys dominated.

Saturday was a relaxing day and we ended it with dinner in Macon at a family-style Italian restaurant.  All of the food was sooooo good and we even ended up getting our own little nook of the restaurant, which was nice since we had 6 kids with us.

On Sunday we all went to Grandmama's church together before hitting the road back to NC (Alison's family) and SC (our family) that afternoon. Bert and Alison grew up in that church and I know they enjoyed being back and seeing people they haven't seen in awhile. And Grandmama definitely enjoyed getting to have 6 of her grandbabies there with her.

We had a great visit and we're looking forward to seeing everyone again at Christmas and having Bert's sister, Carrie, with us for that family gathering!
