Our church had an Easter Egg hunt this past Saturday. Mimi came over and spent the day with us. She went to the Easter egg hunt with us and then let Bert and I go on a mid afternoon date, which was so fun!
Claire decided early that morning that she wanted Mimi to be her partner. They had fun and got so many eggs!
Samantha and Penny came and Emily and Hannah loved having them there! They've also been coming to Awana on Wednesday nights since their church doesn't have anything on those nights.
The ladies that put this together did such a great job! They fed us all lunch and had cupcakes and ice cream for dessert!
The picture below is Abby and her buddy, Hunter. Hunter's mom said every single time they are driving to church or even just passing the church Hunter starts saying Abby's name. They were born one month and one day apart and have been in the nursery together several times a week for almost 2 years now. Sweet friends!
Our church just got a new playground and we are SO thankful and excited about it! When we first came to the church about 6 years ago there was an old wooden one in this spot that was in really bad shape and unsafe and needed to be taken down. It was taken down after we had been here a year or so and we haven't had anything in the playground spot since. We're so thankful for the big, beautiful playground that was given to the children of our church out of love. The kids are looking forward to countless hours of playing on it!
