Christmas in Toccoa

Katherine, Stanley, and I (and our families) all made it to Toccoa within about 10 minutes of each other and we were all running later than we had planned.

Once everyone got there we were ready to open gifts from Mimi and Papa and gifts to one another.  There are 14 of us, so it didn't take long for that room to get covered in paper and gifts, but it was fun for sure!

After we opened we took some pictures in front of the tree before our big Christmas meal.

Katherine and family were there but somehow missed the picture taking session.

Aunt Ann, Uncle Bud and Angela came in just as we were finishing opening!

My mom's brother, Jimmy, and his wife, Kathy also drove up from Atlanta to eat with us.

We fed Ressie and Abby early and put them down for naps since we didn't eat until about 2:30.

We gave Hannah a pajama set so that she could match Maddie and she was so excited about them she asked if she could put them on about 4:30 that afternoon and we said of course! It's hard to tell where Hannah stops and her little Maddie starts!

Emily also got a matching PJ set for her and Virginia and she has loved wearing them, but didn't want to put her pajamas on quite that early!  Ha!

We had such a wonderful Christmas and we're so thankful for our Savior and for the reason we celebrate!
